Hi! My name is Nathan Trevenen. I am a 25 year old artist from, and working out of, Pittsburgh, PA. I live here with my family and three cats, who I love dearly.
I have found a lot of relief and clarity through creating my artwork, as many people find through creativity. It has given me something to focus on, and improve upon everyday.
Each individual piece tells its own story through a mixture of messy depictions, words, and color (or lack there of.) Though my work is very personal to me, I always hope any specific piece of mine speaks to someone in its own way. Art to me is about creating stories, and the way that story is percieved can be vastly different from person to person. That is what makes our favorite songs, movies, books, paintings etc. feel like a piece of our individual self. It is what we as people bond over, and that is a beautiful thing. <3
